1. Research Use Only

All products sold by PYXAX (“PYXAX,” “we,” “us”) are intended exclusively for in vitro and in vivo laboratory research purposes by licensed researchers and institutions. These products are NOT intended for human consumption, clinical therapeutic use, veterinary use, or any use other than scientific research. By accessing this website and purchasing any product, you represent and warrant that you are a licensed researcher or are purchasing on behalf of a licensed research institution.

By completing a purchase, the buyer affirms they are a qualified researcher or research institution purchasing for legitimate laboratory research purposes, consistent with the Research Use Only attestation provided at checkout.

The purchaser assumes full responsibility for the proper handling, storage, use, and regulatory compliance of any product purchased, in accordance with all applicable institutional and legal requirements.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 21 years of age to access this website and purchase any product. By proceeding past the age verification gate, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. No Medical Advice

Nothing on this website constitutes medical advice, a prescription, or a recommendation for human use. PYXAX does not provide medical, clinical, therapeutic, or health advice of any kind. Any information on this site is provided for general scientific reference only. Always consult a licensed medical professional for health-related decisions.

4. United States Sales Only; Buyer Responsibility

PYXAX sells and ships to addresses within the United States only. Orders with a non-US billing or shipping address are not accepted, and we do not export, arrange export, or ship to freight forwarders or other intermediaries for onward delivery outside the United States. Any attempt to obtain our products for delivery outside the United States is a violation of these Terms. See our Shipping Policy for full detail.

Within the United States, the buyer assumes full responsibility for compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing the purchase, possession, storage, and use of research compounds. Some compounds may be restricted in certain states or by certain institutions. It is the buyer’s sole responsibility to verify legal compliance in their jurisdiction before purchasing.

5. Accounts

An account is required to place an order; we do not offer guest checkout. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you supply, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us at hello@pyxax.com promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorization.

At checkout you must confirm your researcher status and select a research purpose. That confirmation is recorded against your order as part of our compliance records, as described in our Privacy Policy. Supplying false information — about your researcher status, your research purpose, your age, or your shipping destination — is a breach of these Terms.

You may request closure of your account at any time by contacting hello@pyxax.com. We may suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe has breached these Terms, has supplied false information, or has attempted to obtain products for a prohibited use or destination. Records we are required to retain for tax, accounting, or regulatory purposes are kept after closure as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how it is used, and how to contact us about it. It forms part of these Terms, and by using this website or placing an order you agree to it.

7. Pricing, Orders, and Availability

Prices are shown in US dollars and may change without notice. We may decline or cancel any order — including after an order confirmation has been sent — where a product is unavailable, where a pricing or listing error has occurred, or where we reasonably believe the order breaches these Terms. Where we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund the amount charged for that order. Cancellations and returns are otherwise governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Payment statements may show internal item codes for processing purposes. Your PYXAX order confirmation and invoice always show the full product name.

8. No Warranty

Products are sold “as-is” for research purposes. PYXAX makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding fitness for any particular purpose beyond confirmed purity and identity as stated in the accompanying Certificate of Analysis. PYXAX is not liable for any damages arising from misuse, improper handling, or use contrary to these Terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PYXAX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the purchase or use of any product sold on this site. Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product in question.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The revision date below indicates when they were last changed, and the version published on this page at the time you place an order governs that order.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
