The PYXAX Standard
The PYXAX Standard is the documented process behind every compound we ship. Nothing on this site is a marketing claim without a corresponding record. This page explains exactly what “verified” means here.
Our Testing Partners
Every lab we use is independent — no vendor affiliation, no in-house testing. Results are what they are.
ILS Laboratories
ISO 17025 accredited, San Diego, California. One of the accredited independent laboratories we use for batch verification. Full panel: HPLC purity, LC-MS identity, endotoxin (USP 85-style), ICP-MS heavy metals, and QR-verified Certificates of Analysis you can scan to confirm results directly at ils-lab.com.
Krause Analytical — founding batches
Accredited US analytical laboratory. HPLC purity and LC-MS identity confirmation on our first production lots.
Janoshik Analytical — community verification
Czech Republic. A public verification database applied to flagship compounds — results are independently searchable by batch number by any researcher at janoshik.com. You never have to take our word for a result.
What We Test
- Purity by HPLC (≥99% specification)
- Molecular identity by LC-MS
- Endotoxin (USP 85-style)
- Heavy metals (ICP-MS)
- QR-verified COA — publicly scannable
- Sterility of the final sealed vial — this requires 503B compounding infrastructure that PYXAX does not operate. We say this openly. Endotoxin results are published per batch; review them before ordering if this is relevant to your research design.
≥99% Purity, Confirmed Potency
All lyophilized compounds meet a minimum of 99% HPLC purity. Potency is confirmed within 80–120% of label claim in line with USP standards. If a batch does not meet specification, it does not ship.
Lot-Specific COAs
A representative COA is not good enough. The Certificate of Analysis in our COA Library documents the exact batch you receive — matched to the batch number printed on your cylinder — including purity by HPLC, identity by LC-MS, and endotoxin results.
Full Batch Traceability
Every order ships with its batch number and lot ID. That number ties directly to the published COA and to the full chain of custody, from synthesis through third-party testing to your bench. No anonymous inventory.
What We Don’t Claim
PYXAX is a research chemical supplier and we describe ourselves accurately. We make no “pharmaceutical grade” claims and no cGMP claims. We are not a compounding pharmacy (503A) or an outsourcing facility (503B). Any supplier using those terms without a named facility and certification number is worth a second look.
Compliance First
PYXAX supplies compounds strictly for in-vitro and preclinical laboratory research, sold only to qualified researchers and institutions. Researcher confirmation is logged at checkout. See our RUO Disclaimer and Terms of Service for full detail.
